Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant said Iran had stockpiled enough uranium to produce five nuclear bombs and warned Tehran not to enrich the material to weapons level. It has been reported Israel Times.
“Make no mistake, Iran will not be satisfied with a nuclear bomb. “So far, Tehran has received 20% and up to 60% enriched material for five nuclear bombs,” Galant told Greek Defense Minister Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos.
Iran’s advance and enrichment of uranium up to 90% would be a serious mistake for Iran.
Earlier, a group of US congressmen presented a draft resolution to parliament that referred to the need to continue to support Israel as the main American ally in the Middle East region, and also to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.
Its authors state that Tehran supports the Hezbollah party and the Hamas movement, which attacks Israel from Lebanese and Syrian territory, and also has “enough enriched uranium to create several nuclear weapons,” according to UN reports.
