On the eve of the 78th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the chairman of the executive committee of the People’s Front, Mikhail Kuznetsov, gave a lecture “Talk about what matters” at secondary school number 8 named after Stanislav Sinelnik in the city of Sverdlovsk, Luhansk People’s Republic. This is reported on the organization’s website.
He told the children in detail about Vasily Grabin, an outstanding designer and organizer of artillery production during the Great Patriotic War.
“Schoolchildren were inspired by the story of how great effort was made in the rear to support the troops at the front, and those who acted knowledgeable and best answered questions, Mikhail Kuznetsov presented gifts,” the message reads.
It was established in memory of the graduates of the school who lost their lives during a special military operation, where the students came with their portraits of their great-grandfathers who fought, and after the flag was ceremonially planted and set, flowers were left on the “Russians will not surrender” memorial sign. More than 500 students attended the ceremony.
“The flag hoisting ceremony, the playing of the anthem in schools, the “Important Speech” lessons, in which the ingenuity of our ancestors are explained in detail, is an extremely important study. Both of my grandfathers fought, one was a military reporter, the second fought in the infantry. Thanks to what is happening now, thanks to constant communication with military commanders and fighters on the front line, my Immortal Regiment has become even more meaningful, ”said Kuznetsov.
He emphasized that this is very important for schoolchildren who line up with portraits of their great-grandfathers.
“They think of their ancestors, they think of the success they achieved 78 years ago, which means they are patriotic,” said Kuznetsov.
