In Kislovodsk, on the eve of Victory Day, a large-scale action was held in support of a special military operation – the “Garden of Memory” in honor of the heroes of the special military operation, military doctors and frontline medics. It was erected on the monument to the “Fire of Eternal Victory”.
Memorial trees were planted by the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko, Chairman of the Committee of the Federation Council of Budget and Financial Markets Anatoly Artamonov, Honored Artist of Russia Denis Maidanov, General Director of the ANO “Garden of Memory” Olga Stepchenko. and Evgeny Moiseev, head of Kislovodsk.
“During the Great Patriotic War, the resort town of Kislovodsk became a hospital city and, thanks to doctors and unique natural healing factors, returned more than 600,000 Soviet soldiers to service. A birch street was paved today to commemorate the medical heroes’ victory over fascism. The success of medical heroes will never be forgotten. Today, during a special military operation, it is important that doctors on the front lines and in hospitals provide medical care and then rehabilitation,” said Mikhail Murashko, addressing the attendees.
“There is nothing more important today than to recognize and remember those who ensured our security and guarded Russia’s borders,” said Denis Maidanov.
Participants of the Envelope of the Soldiers patriotic song contest, together with the People’s Artist of Russia, erected their green monument.
