The suspects in the murder of two animators who went missing near Krasnodar last week were detained in the Kuban. This was reported by RIA Novosti, Channel Five and 112, citing sources.
According to 112, the detainees testified and reported the location of the bodies of the missing Kirill Chubko and Tatyana Mostyko. The girl’s body has already been found.
The Telegram channel writes that investigators are now trying to establish whether the murder was premeditated or whether the conflict was the cause of the crime.
The Kub Mash Telegram channel reports that one of the suspects was taken into custody on May 1 and broadcasts a video of the interrogation of a man who refused to identify himself. He says he refused to plead guilty. According to the channel, in the spring of 2014 the suspect formed an armed gang, including a minor, that attacked residents of the Krasnodar Territory. They broke into homes, stopped cars, threatened them with guns, and took the victims’ valuables.
In addition, Kub Mash writes that those detained are the suspects in the murder of Tatyana Mostyko and the fate of its leader, Kirill Chubko, is unknown.
According to an RIA Novosti source, one person was detained, having previously served a number of serious crimes. Channel Five explains that the exact number of those involved in the crime is unknown. At the same time, traces of violent death were found on the girl’s body.
Before media reports, the Investigative Committee of the Krasnodar Territory announced a meeting with the participation of the head of the department, Andrei Maslov, at which the results of the search activities were summarized and the identity of the suspects involved in the murder was determined.
“Based on the results of the operational meeting, Andrey Maslov concluded that there were grounds for the detention of suspects and gave instructions on the conduct of special investigations and other procedural actions aimed at determining the whereabouts of the disappeared and all the circumstances of the crime.” ministry said in a statement.
But later in the evening, the press service of the regional Investigative Committee informed the local portal 93.RU that the information about the discovery of Mostyko’s body was unreliable. And the wife of Cyril Chubko Daria wrote that neither her husband nor Tatyana has yet been found:
“All that is written in the media is unverified information. I’m begging you! I feel so bad! Do not write condolences. Neither Cyril nor Tanya has yet been found, ”the woman wrote. She added that the search for the missing will continue.
37-year-old Chubko was an entrepreneur – he had his own events agency. 19-year-old Mostyko worked there as an animator. On April 28, they disappeared on the M-4 Don highway, on the way from the village of Krylovskaya to the city of Ust-Labinsk, from the next incident.
Before Chubko disappeared, he called his wife at 11:40 pm and said that her tires were flat and the two men had agreed to help them. After that, the guy and the girl stopped communicating, but money began to be withdrawn from their cards. Money was withdrawn from various ATMs in the villages of Berezanskaya, Irklievskaya and Kanevskaya.
Volunteers participated in the search for animators, in total more than 500 people participated. On May 1, law enforcement officers found a burned Hyundai car in which missing persons were moving in the Bryukhovetsky district of the Kuban. Found in a forest belt next to a dirt road. The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case in accordance with paragraphs “a, h” of part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
