The press secretary of the President of Russia commented on the proposal to ban the use of drones on May 9.
The relevant proposal was submitted to the State Duma.
“I don’t think we can or will not support the recommendations, it should be done by the special services,” the Kremlin spokesperson said.
Former government of the Tver region prohibited Unauthorized use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the region until May 15 this year.
March 28 State Duma made A bill that gives law enforcement the right to fight any drone to repel an attack on protected facilities.
The authors of the bill cited data that in 2022 there were 81 attempts to fly unmanned aerial vehicles over the territory of penitentiary institutions, last year 208 drone flights were stopped over protected objects.
