Those arrested, including minors aged 14-17, including a girl, and adults aged 18-21, are accused of rioting. The 12 people arrested are Spanish and two of them are of Argentinean descent. Sources believe an emotional conflict may have been behind the fight.

The incidents took place on Friday, April 28, at around 18:30. Several calls to 091 were alerted of a major fight taking place in Fuente de Colores. (Avenida Jorge Luis Borges) attended by as many as thirty young people carrying bats, sharp weapons, and even baseball bats.
The National Police mobilized several patrols that managed to stop three groups of teenagers at different points who were trying to escape. Subsequent procedures allowed to determine this two of these groups belonged to the same gang of adolescents who had moved from the area. Carretera de Cádiz and the two were seized with a knife and an extendable baton, so they were charged with illegal possession of weapons.
The third group consisted of adolescents residing in the Teatinos district.
