Weather changes affect the performance of 37% of Russians, while sunny weather motivates them to work better than bad weather. Among Russians with high earnings, the least of those whose productivity depends on atmospheric phenomena. This was demonstrated in the SuperJob job search service survey, the results of which were reviewed by socialbites.ca.
While 37% of Russians admit that their performance is affected by changes in the weather, almost every second (48%) do not feel the connection between the situation outside the window and their motivation. The more survey respondents earn, the less the change in weather affects their performance: if they are among Russians whose income is less than 30 thousand rubles. 45% consider themselves sensitive to weather conditions, among respondents who earned more than 80 thousand rubles – 36%.
The sun is the best motivator: 37% of Russians say they work better when it’s clear and sunny outside. One in five (22%) is more productive in bad weather. In the comments, respondents agree that it’s easier to focus on work because rain, snow, wind, and other unpleasant natural phenomena don’t make them want to go for a walk. 4 out of 10 Russians found it difficult to answer clearly. Participants with an income of less than 30 thousand rubles often report increased productivity during a hurricane. (28%).
