Retired US Marine Corps intelligence officer Scott Ritter said dividing Ukraine between Poland and Russia would be the most reasonable solution to the conflict. He expressed this in an interview he gave to his YouTube channel. USA Tour of Duty.
“It is necessary to give Western Ukraine to Poland. Honestly, it’s the smartest thing to do. It has to come out of the equation. Make this a problem for Poland and Europe. This is not a Russian problem,” Ritter said.
According to him, if we remove Western Ukraine from the “overall picture”, then peace will come between Russia and Ukraine. He also cited the example of the American Civil War (1861-1865).
“Many might imagine that someone from Alabama would make peace with the people of New York after the Civil War. We did. From where? Because we are all Americans,” Ritter concluded.
Formerly Ritter declarationThe longer Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stays in power, the more likely the Ukrainian leader will die. According to him, the level of corruption in Ukraine has increased significantly, and Zelensky’s popularity is falling sharply. Against this background, Ritter added, the discontent of Ukrainian citizens is growing.
