Russian volunteers helped organize May Day celebrations in Genichesk in the Kherson region. transmits FAN, referring to the Regional Humanitarian Centre. In honor of Spring and Labor Day, a marching band performed for the first time in many years in Shevchenko Central Park. The musicians played waltzes and love songs, which the townspeople danced with delight.
“Together with the district government, we have decided to organize a holiday for local residents. As a result, an orchestra played in the center of Genichesk, various attractions worked, and our volunteers distributed May Day souvenirs to adults and the best Russian sweets to children. “One of our basic rules is that children smile on holidays,” said State Duma deputy Igor Kastyukevich, head of the humanitarian mission.
A local rock band also performed in front of the audience. A city chess tournament was also held here for the city mayor’s cup, in which adults and children participated. It is also stated that all the attractions of the park are free for children.
