Bryansk region Governor Alexander Bogomaz said in a statement on his Telegram channel that the Ukrainian Armed Forces opened fire on the village of Suzemka twice. Two people were initially reported dead, but two more bodies were later found.
According to him, the Ukrainian army dealt the first blow on the night of April 30. “A residential building was fired and partially damaged by a bullet. All operational services are running onsite,” he wrote.
Half an hour later, Bogomaz announced that two civilians had died. “According to preliminary data, one residential building was completely destroyed, two more houses were partially destroyed. Operational services continue to work at the scene.”
On Sunday morning, the Ukrainian Armed Forces, with the help of the MLRS, carried out the second bombardment of the village. The Russian air defense system dropped several shells. No one was injured in this attack.

The governor added that the debris removal work at the bombardment site continues. A state of emergency was declared in the village of Suzemka.
The village is located in the Suzemsky district of the Bryansk region, 10 km from the border with the Sumy region of Ukraine.
Two days before that, on April 28, the Suzemsky district had already been attacked by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The governor said no one was hurt. However, the garage and the car in the garage were damaged and a house was partially destroyed.
Bogomaz said that on April 27, the Ukrainian army shelled the territory of the village of Klimovo.

Investigators plan to form a circle of people involved in the crime.
On April 18, the governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, reported that a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine crashed into the building of the military registration and recruitment office in the urban district of Novozybkov.
