State Duma deputy Vitaly Milonov in an interview with RT criticized A draft law on the introduction of payments for married couples who have been married for more than 20 years in Russia.
“Probably MPs shouldn’t strictly regulate every area of life: you can get to the point of absurdity. We must not allow social support measures to depreciate – it undermines the concept of state aid, ”Milonov stressed.
With this initiative spoke Yaroslav Nilov is Deputy Chairman of the Liberal Democrats group. He pointed out that when motherhood and childhood need to be supported in connection with the realities of the age, the institution of the family should also be supported.
Before that Milonov discussed to the Prime Minister of Russia, Mikhail Mishustin, with a proposal to organize the presentation of free medical certificates to all newlyweds. The parliamentarian noted that thanks to this decision, couples will be able to control their reproductive health, general condition of the body and choose the appropriate treatment in case of detected pathologies.
