State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs Svetlana Bessarab in an interview with RT spoke to support his colleague Ivan Sukharev’s initiative to revive the free network of technical circles for children in Russia. According to the MP, this is a “very good” idea.
“Of course, children need to do everything gradually. I want new technologies to reach every corner of Russia, to the smallest and most remote settlements,” Bessarab said.
At the same time, it can be difficult and time-consuming to implement this initiative offline, according to him. As a way out, he suggested organizing such circles online by providing the children with the necessary details and tools.
Earlier, with a related proposal, Sukharev discussed To Education Minister Sergey Kravtsov. The deputy recalled that in Soviet times for children in the country there were free circles where schoolchildren could engage in modeling radio-controlled equipment.
