For the vast majority of people experiencing relationship, health, or money problems, childhood trauma is the cause of the problem. This is an occupational psychologist, Dr. Stanislav Sambursky, a clinical psychologist at Anikina’s Clinic and author of the Ecological Psychologist Zen channel, told socialbites.ca.

According to the expert, the first sign of childhood trauma is the inability to remember something that happened to the person at least before the age of five. There may also be lost memories of school years or even student days.

“This is one of the clearest signs of the existence of childhood trauma. Usually this happens because of a terrible event that happened at a certain age. Basically, an adult remembers himself from the age of three. If you have absolutely no memories from childhood, this is cause for concern. Perhaps the psyche trying to defend itself has strained memories of the trauma,” the psychologist explained.

The second sign of trauma is success in some areas, for example, in a career, and constant problems in others, for example, in relationships with parents. At the same time, no matter what a person does, nothing changes.

The “third” sign of the presence of trauma is “strange psychosomatic symptoms. Some symptoms get progressively worse and doctors cannot identify the disease. There was a case in my practice where a client complained of constant signs of inflammation in the urogenital area: fibroids, thrush, cystitis, and more. However, regressive hypnosis During a consultation on the use of techniques, it turned out that all this was the result of a childhood rape of a woman. The memory of this was forced into the subconscious,” said Stanislav Sambursky.

The fourth sign of the presence of childhood trauma is destructive relationships, which a person cannot go beyond the system of “aggressive victim”, unconsciously seeks and constantly seeks them.

The sixth symptom of childhood trauma is the occasional occurrence of a depressive state, feelings of loneliness, unexplained fatigue, and inner destruction. This is often accompanied by anxiety, heavy thoughts, and in some cases, insomnia.

“A seemingly insignificant event can vaguely resemble a past traumatic experience that caused such problems. Also, the more often you experience stress in these situations, the harder it is to maintain self-control and self-control. Stress also has a negative effect on concentration. As a result, the quality of life decreases and vital energy is lost, ”said psychologist Sambursky.

The seventh symptom of childhood trauma is difficulty understanding what one wants from life. So the job turns into slavery, and at least some interest isn’t over.

“If you’ve found at least one of the signs in yourself, it’s worth thinking about and doing research on your childhood. But for this purpose it is best to contact a specialist. It will help to remember even a forgotten event,” advised the expert.
