National Police agents arrested a man. sexual harassment 25 women between the ages of 13-22 through social networks from 16 provinces
Specifically, a total of 25 victims were identified residing in different parts of Spain –Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Valencia, A Coruña, Tenerife, Las Palmas, Mallorca, Cáceres, Toledo, Pontevedra, Badajoz, Córdoba, Jaén , Burgos and Zamora–, 15 underage and the rest between 18 and 22 years oldHe detailed the National Police in his statement.
The investigation, named ‘Ganímedes’, started in December 2020 as a result of a complaint filed by a boy under 14 to the Delicias Regional Police Station in Valladolid.
Initial investigations allowed to verify the reported data and the alleged perpetrator was aware of the minor’s age and after months of research, it was possible to identify and locate the individual in a town in the province of Seville.
Because of these facts, the person arrested for alleged perpetrators of corruption, production of child pornographic material and threats against minors was brought to justice.
Therefore, agents specializing in cybercrime from Valladolid requested forensic permission to extract and analyze information on the two seized mobile phones, and to access and analyze the anonymous profile he used on the social network to deceive his victims.

In this sense, the investigators determined that the number of files they had to submit to the investigation was approximate. 100 photos every three daysputs the minors under high levels of stress if they want to reach that number.
In addition, several of the victims needed psychological treatmentin some it causes anxiety and sleep disturbances, in many it causes self-harm.
On April 18, 2023, the cyberstalker was arrested in collaboration with the Seville Technological Crimes Group and handed over to the Carmona Investigation Court, which ordered his release on charges.
