In Karachaevsk, a teenager killed a 10-year-old schoolgirl. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic.
Initially, the media reported that the fourth grader disappeared around 1 PM Moscow time after leaving the house for ice cream. After a while, his family rushed to look for him and contacted the police. Around 3:30 p.m., the body of a child with his throat cut was found on the ground floor of a neighbor’s apartment.
Suspicion fell on a 16-year-old person who lived in the same apartment. He took advantage of the intense search efforts for the young girl, even pretending to help the search for a while, Teegram news channels reported. During this time, she managed to partially hide the traces of the crime: in the entrance next to the elevator she washed traces of blood, washed dirty clothes and shoes.
“It has been determined that the tenant of this apartment, born in 2007, hit the girl’s head with a stone, then slit her throat and dragged her into the apartment. It was also determined that he committed the murder with the intent of rape.”
The teenager initially refused to plead guilty, but later confessed to the crime during interrogation by the police. A criminal case was opened under paragraph “c” of Part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Murder of a minor). Alexander Bastrykin, chairman of the Investigative Committee, took control of the case.
Later, the district department of the Investigative Committee reported that a 16-year-old teenager followed the girl from her school – she also studied there. Now the suspect’s statements are continuing, the necessary investigation has been started.
According to Komsomolskaya Pravda, the body of a naked girl was found by her father. It has not been reported whether the murderer committed acts of a sexual nature.
According to Shot, the name of the suspect in the murder is Alan, and the dead girl is Yasmina. Citing a source, the publication reported that he did not have time to commit violent acts – no characteristic marks were found on the boy’s body. In the trash in his apartment, they found a towel in which he wiped the blood from the crime scene.
At the scene, several hundred people gathered at the entrance of the residential building where the disaster occurred. Footage from social networks shows the mother of the murdered girl fainting. Users also reported that the parents of a 16-year-old teenager were detained, but this information has not been officially confirmed.
