A retiree with cancer nearly choked his grandson over a bottle of wine and died in police in Moscow

In Moscow, a retired oncology patient died after being detained by strangling his five-year-old grandson. It has been reported mk.ru.

The incident occurred on April 19 in the apartment of a Russian in the southwest of the capital. The man’s daughter said she heard her child cry from her father’s room and saw fingerprints on her son’s neck as he entered the room.

Fearing that the retiree might be cruel to her grandchild again, the Russian woman called the police. As a result, law enforcement officers detained a 67-year-old Muscovite and took him to the police station.

During the interrogation, the man’s health deteriorated sharply and he died. Later, the deceased’s daughter said she had been diagnosed with stage four cancer.

Returning home, the family tried to find out why the pensioner was holding the boy by the throat. It turned out that the boy climbed on the back of the chair, where his grandfather was hiding a bottle of wine.
