The Canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) reported that one of the human rights activists defending the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra was detained during the live broadcast. This was reported on UOC’s Telegram channel.
“Human rights activist Victoria Kokhanovskaya was abducted during the live broadcast. Eyewitnesses reported that the police barbarously took him away,” he said.

Later, a commission of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine arrived on the territory of the Lavra, whose members included the deputy head of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra reserve. Following the arrival of the commission, a group of police officers appeared and tried to block the entrance to the complex.
