It was stated that units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are facing problems in preparing NATO equipment for use in the summer. TASS Lieutenant Colonel retired Andrei Marochko of the People’s Militia of the Luhansk People’s Republic.
“In preparing equipment for the summer period, the command faced a shortage of general-purpose technical specialists,” he said.
Marochko also noted that many Kiev security guards are only trained in the use and maintenance of certain vehicles, and that the range of equipment provided by the West is much wider.
Also, according to him, methodological recommendations do not give the desired effect due to the low qualifications of specialists in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
