US Department of Defense spokesman Patrick Ryder said US military personnel were not involved in the conflict in Ukraine. He told the newspaper Washington Auditor.
“The US has no combat units in Ukraine. “We are not conducting any combat operations against Russian troops,” he said.
“The United States is 100 percent focused on supporting Ukraine and providing the security assistance it needs to protect the country.”
