A container ship from Russia delivered more than 180 tons of humanitarian aid to Turkey for victims of the devastating February earthquakes. It has been reported Anadolu Agency with reference to local authorities.
The publication draws attention to the fact that the Evrim Group container ship carrying 184 tons of humanitarian aid from the Russian Federation docked at the Ünye port on the Black Sea coast of Turkey.
“The ship from Sochi delivered food to the victims of the February earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş,” the agency said.
The publication says that the humanitarian aid under the control of the Turkish Emergency Management Presidency was sent to the disaster area.
Former Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan saidAfter a series of earthquakes in February, debris removal is expected to be completed by April 21 in all provinces except Hatay.
According to him, the foundations of new housing for earthquake survivors are being actively laid, and the construction of more than 100,000 apartments and cottages has also started.
