At a meeting with military analyst Boris Dzherelievsky URA.RU He said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) plans to organize a three-stage counterattack.
He noted that in the first phase, infantry would be thrown into battle with minimal protection. According to his estimations, attacks will go to the entire front line to expose weak spots.
“The second wave consists of Western light armored vehicles, as well as pickup trucks with machine guns,” said Dzherelievsky.
The expert noted that the third stage is Leopard tanks and heavy armored vehicles.
The analyst added that the level of preparation for the counterattack is weak, so the Ukrainian command will rely on “cannon fodder”.
