The Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation has registered a two-component vaccine for the prevention of coronavirus infection in children aged 6 to 11 years. It has been reported TASS.

“Gam-COVID-Vak-D Combined vector vaccine for the prevention of coronavirus infection caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus,” the publication says.

Among the contraindications are noted hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug or a drug with similar components, a history of severe allergic reactions up to six years.

Vaccination is given two to four weeks after recovery or remission in acute infectious and non-communicable diseases.

In January 2023, Gunzburg confirmed that it submitted documents to the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation for registration of a vaccine against COVID-19 for children aged 6-11 years.
