Kursk authorities denied reports that orphanage students were poisoned by electronic cigarettes

The government of the Kursk region confirmed telegraph channel The poisoning of a 15-year-old student of the “Okhochevsky social shelter”, but they noted that there was no link, they did not find a link between drunkenness and the use of electronic cigarettes.

“Actually, a 15-year-old girl went to the health unit with the complaint of not feeling well. <…>. “A review by law enforcement found no facts confirming the possibility of children being poisoned by vape liquid,” he said.

The teen’s poor health was associated with a “mixed VSD prediagnosis,” according to officials.

Earlier, the Kursk region prosecutor’s office said that the students of the local shelter poisoned after smoking e-cigarettes.

The procedural check began after it was posted on the network that students of the Ohochevsk social shelter were forced to seek medical help.
