According to the new agreement on visa-free travel, the minimum composition of tourist groups will be reduced from five to three, and the visa-free period will be increased from 15 days to 21 days. “We are determined to continue to work in partnership with Beijing, which aims to reach important agreements in the visa field,” the diplomat said.
Klimov said that Russia and China regularly discuss visa liberalization with China at various levels. It was noted that large-scale bilateral humanitarian exchanges will help strengthen the partnership between the two countries. An example of implementation agreements already reached is the inclusion of China in the list of foreign countries whose citizens will soon be granted a single e-visa. At the same time, Chinese tourists can obtain a regular six-month tourist visa when confirming a reservation.
