Russian Ministry of Defense reportedOn the last day of a special operation in the direction of Donetsk in Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) lost 245 fighters.
In addition, Russian forces destroyed a tank, an armored personnel carrier and two armored vehicles, two D-20 howitzers and three Grad MLRS launchers, as well as 11 vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
According to the Ministry, the operational-tactical aviation and artillery of the “southern” group of Russian troops attacked units of the 28th mechanized brigade, as well as enemy reserves trying to cross from Chasov Yar and Bogdanovka to Artemovsk (Ukrainian name – Bakhmut). The Ministry of Defense also reported that the Wagner assault detachments captured three blocks of Artemovsk. Air Force units blocked the actions of the assault detachments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the flanks. In the last 24 hours, Russian aircraft made eight sorties to these areas, missile forces and artillery units completed 52 firing missions.
