The Workers’ Party of Korea and the DPRK government set the goal of transforming the People’s Republic into a world-class space power, the foundation for which has already been laid. It has been reported Korea Central News Agency.

“The unshakable position of our party and government is the desire to build a world space power from our country,” says the publication.

Pyongyang stressed that space belongs to all humanity and that no state has “monopoly property”. The agency’s publication emphasizes that, according to international law, including the Outer Space Treaty, all countries have the legal right to explore and use space.
