Russians are less likely to report business mistakes to management. This was demonstrated in the SuperJob job search service survey, the results of which were reviewed by socialbites.ca.
According to 35% of Russians, management should be aware of all mistakes made at work. 56% believe that only major miscalculations should be reported and minor errors should be kept quiet. In practice, one in three (32%) report all business errors to management, while 52% report only serious ones.
The Russians mostly follow the policy of maximum honesty with an income of 80 thousand rubles per month: 45% believe that it is necessary to inform the administration of all miscalculations, 38% say that they always do exactly this.
Since a similar study was conducted in 2021, the number of Russians who believe that management should only report serious mistakes made in their work has increased: 49% two years ago and 56% now. Working during the pandemic period, restrictions and bans made the Russians nervous and insured. In practice, the majority today also prefer to correct minor miscalculations on their own, without disturbing the authorities.
