Verkhovna Rada Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak said on his Telegram channel that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a document approved by parliament, which provides an increase of 14.5 billion dollars in defense budget expenditures.

“The President signed a record increase in the 2023 (year) budget. The draft law numbered 9105 will enter into force the day after tomorrow,” he wrote.

According to him, about $ 10 billion of the specified amount of funds was provided to the Ministry of Defense of the country, $ 2.6 billion – to the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, $ 124.5 million – to the “main intelligence department”.
