The new energy model, which is an ambitious plan unique in Europe, in which the cooperative will meet 100% of the energy needs of the Dairy Industry from renewable sources from 2024, is noteworthy. completely self-sufficient in this regard and to offer the best milk obtained with 100% sustainable energy to the consumer.

Another area of work is the optimization of the industrial process through a change in waste management. Minimize waste and compost. This management, which allows materials such as cardboard, paper, plastic or organic matter to go from waste to source, has led it to position itself as the first Cooperative in Spain to receive the ‘Zero Waste’ seal on all its industrial facilities.

In addition, as part of its commitment to environmental sustainability, COVAP takes a number of other related actions, such as the use of packaging made of 89% plant-based materials or replacing the use of plastic film with a new 50% recycled plastic film.

Furthermore, after a rigorous evaluation by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), this supplement has been deemed highly effective and safe.

Various studies confirm this. There is no change in the composition, processing or nutritional value of the milk., maintaining the highest quality of the product. A meta-analysis of more than 15 trials evaluated feed conversion efficiency unaffected by Bovaer® use and found no traces in manure or urine, clearly demonstrating no effect. in the digesters of cows.
