‘Masterchef’, ‘Brothers’ and ‘Survivors’ compete for the audience today

Tonight at 22:05 at La 1, TVE is broadcasting a new program ‘Masterchef 11’. The program begins in Vejer de la Frontera, one of the white towns of Cádiz, where judges and applicants know the Fundación Montenmedio Contemporánea, Southern Europe’s most important open-air contemporary art museum. Back in the kitchens, a screening test of Japan’s most mysterious delicacies awaits. Chef Hideki Matsuhisa is responsible for showing you the best kept secret of Japanese gastronomy: Koji mushrooms. It is a fungus that appears after the rice fermentation process, it is used to mold certain ingredients and gives them a very characteristic taste. The challenge is to prepare a Japanese flavored dish that includes some preparations including Koji. La Terremoto de Alcorcón, one of the duelists of the MasterChef Christmas special, is trying to inspire black aprons with his overflowing creativity.
