Sirius University College has opened the acceptance of applications for the All-Russian IT-Round competition for schoolchildren. According to the press service of the federal district of Sirius, the winners and laureates will receive not only diplomas, but also additional points after admission to this educational institution.

According to Elena Savruk, First Vice-Chancellor of Sirius University, the competition aims to determine the level of formation of digital competences among schoolchildren and increase motivation for in-depth study of specific topics, participation in it opens up tremendous opportunities.
“Many guys who are already in high school know they want to go into IT in the future and spend a lot of time on the subjects they will need after being accepted. Thanks to this competition, each student can not only check whether their knowledge is at the desired level, but also present their project to experts, like-minded people “They find themselves in an environment of equally enthusiastic children, and most importantly gain experience. The tasks were developed by Sirius University College’s leading teachers, university experts, and representatives of partner companies.
Participants will need to solve logic and programming problems using one of the following languages: Basic, C, C#, C++, JS, Java, Pascal, PHP, Python, implementing and maintaining their own projects.
The competition will be held remotely in four waves: April 9 – April 26, April 27 – May 10, May 11 – May 31, June 2 – June 27.
