Pskov customs officers found a cache of 9.5 million Ukrainian hryvnias in a minibus with Ukrainian citizens traveling to Latvia. In this respect TASS Reported in the press service of the North-West Customs Administration.

According to him, employees of the Burachki customs station stopped the attackers’ car for control. In the vehicle, they found a specially equipped stash of banknotes. According to the ministry, Ukrainians tried to extract about 9.5 million hryvnia from Russia, equivalent to $257,000.

The driver and all the passengers told the customs officers that they had no goods or money to declare. However, during the inspection of the car using the inspection complex, customs officers revealed suspicious gaps in the trunk, where the money was stored.

Currently, the question of filing a criminal case under Part 2 of Art. 200.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Cash smuggling on a particularly large scale”).
