The Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), Alexander Syrsky, visited Bakhmut (Russian name – Artemovsk). This was reported by the Ukrainian agency UNIAN.
According to the agency, Syrsky visited the hottest parts of the contact line in the direction of Bakhmut. He listened to the reports of the military unit and group commanders on the progress of the defense, and also discussed the problematic issues that require immediate resolution.
“Bakhmut’s defense continues. The situation is difficult but manageable,” Syrsky said.
