Two US officials admitted that documents posted on social networks about the situation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) may be fake. Agency reports Reuters.
In their view, documents can be falsified to mislead investigators or harm US interests. At the same time, it is emphasized that an independent verification of the authenticity of documents has not yet been carried out.
Reuters sources are of the opinion that the depth of the issues reflected in the documents suggests that the leak came from an American. Investigators are currently investigating the causes of the leak, according to one of the US officials.
