Bonnie Gooch of Missouri was arrested and taken into custody by the police. According to the officers, they even had to arrange a chase for a woman, and when they realized they had detained an elderly man, it was a “slightly shocking” factor for them.
“It was a tense situation,” the police added.
Authorities confirmed that Bonnie committed two robberies in 2020 and 1971. The son of an American woman said his mother threatened to commit another crime after arguing with his family. This time, Gooch handed the bank employees a note demanding $3,000 for him.
Officers added that Bonnie would be sent to the hospital to see if she needed help. Meanwhile, the district attorney accused him of theft and set bail at $25,000.
