A resident of the Tula region, two and a half years later, confessed to killing the son of a former roommate and showed where he hid the body. It has been reported press office IC of Russia by region.

The 28-year-old has a close relationship with his 33-year-old mother and has been living with him and his son since the summer of 2020.

The murder of a 5-year-old boy occurred in October 2020 in Bogoroditsk. That month the deceased’s mother was away, and the boy was left alone with his stepfather. But the adult did not like the behavior of the boy, and the Russian, angry at his disobedience, hit the victim several times. After a while, the man discovered that the boy showed no signs of life. Then, fearing the consequences, she wrapped her stepson’s body in a blanket, drove it into the woods in a car, and buried it.

She continued her relationship with her child’s murderer for several more years and broke up with him only in the fall of 2022.

On April 6, the 28-year-old suspect was arrested. During interrogation, the man confessed, repented of his deed, and showed the place where the remains of the deceased lay. The attacker is now charged with willfully causing grievous bodily harm and resulting in the death of a person as a result of negligence. It was reported that he had no previous convictions.

Investigators will conduct a legal assessment of the child-rearing conditions and the work of bodies to prevent crimes against minors.
