More than 100,000 people have registered to participate in the anniversary season of the XX All-Russian competition “My Country – My Russia”. This was announced at a press conference in TASS by representatives of the presidential platform “Russia – the Land of Opportunities”, the organizer of the project.

Alexei Agafonov, First Deputy Director General of ANO “Russia – a Land of Opportunities”, summarizing the results of the application campaign of the competition, said that the “My Country – My Russia” project entered the platform in 2019 and is stable. growth.
“This year we have received a large number of applications for participation from people who are interested in the well-being of their small homeland. Explaining that more than 100 thousand participants registered in the 20th season, Agafonov added that in addition to the citizens of the Russian Federation, representatives of 25 foreign countries registered for the competition.
Yuri Zubov, Head of the Federal Intellectual Property Service (Rospatent), emphasized that young and talented people who think about the future are striving for the field of intellectual property.
“They want to create their own intellectual products, and our task is to help them realize their ideas. Rospatent will pay special attention to the subsequent support of promising projects. It will help find investors for promising projects,” said Zubov.
According to Lilia Gumerova, Chairman of the Federation Council of Science, Education and Culture Committee and Chairman of the Expert Council of the “My Country – My Russia” competition, according to the results of this season, 3,211 experts were selected and they will start evaluating the work very soon.
“I am confident that we will have completely new, creative projects this season that will be in demand and resonate with the community,” he said.
Recall that the XX season of the competition began on February 2 at the Federation Council with the participation of the Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko. The main idea of the competition “My Country – My Russia” is to involve young people in solving acute problems of socio-economic development of Russian cities and villages.
The correspondence review of the projects began on April 4 and will continue until April 24.
