Most Russians who make serious mistakes at work successfully hide them from their superiors

The service Rabota.ru conducted a study and found out how many Russians make mistakes at work and hide them, and what consequences such mistakes lead to. socialbites.ca got acquainted with the results of the survey.

Thus, more than half of Russians surveyed – 51% – admitted to making critical mistakes at work: 28% of them only made one mistake and 23% made serious mistakes several times. 49% of respondents managed to avoid such problems.

68% of respondents are honest at work and do not hide their mistakes.

13% of those who made mistakes at work tried to hide their mistakes from everyone. 12% didn’t just tell their problems to their superiors and 7% just kept it from their colleagues.
At the same time, the majority of Russians surveyed (61%) managed to hide their mistake.

45% of respondents said they did not seek help and corrected mistakes on their own. Nearly one in three (32%) turned to colleagues for help, and 29% of respondents were attracted to managers.

17% of respondents asked for advice from a friend at work. 8% consulted their friends outside of work. Only 4% of respondents did not attempt to solve the problem in any way.
Almost half (45%) of Russians who made mistakes at work did not experience results. However, 36% of respondents received a statement from their superiors. 12% of the participants paid a fine and the same person (12%) received a reprimand.

8% of the residents of Russia surveyed did not receive bonuses due to mistakes. 8% of the respondents felt the need to quit their job. 4% faced pay cuts. Only 1% of surveyed employees were demoted.
