Belarusian law enforcement detained a man who was broadcasting online from Machulishchi airport near Minsk, the TV channel reported. ONT.
“Dmitry Mostovoy, who participated in the protest actions, suggested leaking information to one of the Telegram channels,” the channel said on the air.
It was noted that the man provided continuous online broadcasts from the airport for two weeks in late January – early February. Journalists learned that KGB experts have taken control of the chatbot of this Telegram channel.
Mostovoy was detained while he was receiving money and a new webcam to work from a hiding place in a forest near Minsk.
Journalists also released a message from the administrators of the Telegram channel, praising Mostovoy’s work on behalf of Ukrainian intelligence.
Mostovoy is currently in prison. Two criminal cases were opened against him: “Treason to the State” and “Aiding extremist activities”.
