The German investigation believes that the Andromeda yacht, linked to the attacks on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines, was not the only vessel involved in the sabotage. The Washington Post writes about it, citing sources.
It was noted that the same traces of explosives were found in the cabin of Andromeda as the explosives used in the pipeline.
However, some Western officials doubted that experienced saboteurs could leave such obvious evidence behind. They believe that someone may deliberately try to confuse the investigation.
Other sources have also acknowledged that saboteurs may misbehave. The article also says that some officials have tacitly discussed the possible interference of Poland and Ukraine in what happened.
Among other things, German investigators are skeptical of the version that only one charter yacht and six crew members were involved in the sabotage.
The previous German edition of Bild reportedHair for DNA analysis has been found on the Andromeda sailing yacht that could be used to blow up Nord Stream gas pipelines.
