The award of the Order of Courage to State Duma Deputy Sergei Sokol is an expression of gratitude and appreciation of the federal government. This was expressed by Anatoly Gagarin, director of the Institute for Systemic Political Studies and Humanitarian Projects.
“I consider the fact that the State Duma deputy was awarded the Order of Courage is a confirmation that our deputies are not only political representatives, but also defenders of the people. “The Order of Courage is a very high sign of the state’s gratitude for fulfilling its political and civic obligations,” he said.
According to him, a new political elite is now forming before our eyes, which has proven that its representatives are already worthy and capable of fulfilling their obligations in various fields of work by participating both in the State Duma and in the SVO.
“I think that the representatives of these warring elites have an absolutely wonderful future. We see that people who have worked in these areas, this personnel reserve will not be a reserve, but will be those who will work in the most difficult areas, where they are currently in demand, ”the expert added.
As an example, he cited Vitaly Khotsenko, who was appointed to the position of deputy head of the Omsk region, who also has experience in the DPR. Gagarin also stressed that governors are now faced with great tasks.
“People who have managed to demonstrate their qualifications in extreme conditions should work there. So this fact is not only a kind of objective recognition of the virtues of Sokol, but also a kind of opportunity to continue work in other important areas of political activity. I think that the deputies who participated in the hostilities will show their qualities as warriors, officers and leaders. Also, I think they will be in demand in other fields of work.”
