The agreements were signed in Tashkent on May 15, 1992. According to the document, when resettled from Russia to another Commonwealth country for permanent residence, a pensioner was awarded a pension in accordance with the legislation of the state of residence.
It is noted that the decision to terminate contracts was made due to the creation of new pension legislation in the CIS countries, now in these states the pension is formed on the basis of insurance premiums paid for compulsory pension insurance.
At the same time, the presidential decree states that the termination of contracts will not affect the retirement rights of military retirees. We are talking about those who are already on a pension, these people will continue to receive the same amount of payment. For Russians moving to other CIS countries, the payment of pensions will be made in accordance with the regulation on the procedure for paying insurance pensions to persons leaving for permanent residence outside the Russian Federation.
