He is such a white cat that the sun is burning him and he has long stolen hair from his ears and face. Bald spots improve in winter but inevitably grow in summer. That’s why they really call her Sol so everyone knows that what happened to her was an allergy to her and that although this allergy caused her that nasty look, it didn’t diminish her beauty.
His eyes are huge, enormous, and curious as well as restless, his gaze is always looking for yours. He lives in one of the shelters for abandoned animals in Spain and where the miracle of bread and fish is displayed every day so that everyone has everything. It is not easy, opportunities are scarce and provided with dedication and love of animals.
There, in one of them, they told me their story. They told me that they found him injured under a car and that he was always looking for the proximity of people in the center alongside other cats. This means, among other things, that it is a human family, that is, it grew up among humans, but was unfortunately eventually abandoned.
It’s still terrible for this to happen, but many people still believe that if you leave a cat to its fate on the street, it will simply seek life and survive, enjoying the so-called freedom that it will find in any abandoned plot. However, it is not. The life expectancy of a street cat is much less than that of a cat living with its family. Fifteen, sixteen years you can live in a house, three or four years if you live on the street. The truth is that most of them, unconsciously and unaware of everything, get crushed under the steering wheel of a car while running down a street or sometimes fleeing from greater danger.
So Sol represents all the cats that have been collected from them by the animal guardians and that live patiently in their centers, waiting for good adoption.
