Metropolitan Pavel, the governor of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, who was placed under house arrest by a Ukrainian court on April 1, described the case against him as “political order”. Reported by “Strana.ua”.
“I did not do anything. I know this is a political order because I have been threatened. The Ukrainian Security Service called me to the museum director, they said that it should be filed against you…” said the governor.
He noted that at the address ordered by the court to serve his sentence, there was no heat, no light, no communication, “no mug, no spoon”.
