Avalanches in northern Norway killed four people. In this respect reported on the police site

A 40-year-old Slovenian tourist died in an avalanche in the Tverrel valley in Tromso’s Storslett province. Together with him, five more people were engaged in mountaineering, they were not injured.

Also, the avalanche resulted in the death of an elderly Norwegian couple from Reinøy in Grotnesdalen. The dead were about 60 years old. The landslide destroyed the house and barn affected by the sea. Police are evacuating the population from the coastal settlement to the neighboring settlement due to the risk of repeated landslides.

A 30-year-old tourist from Italy died on Kavringtinden peak in Lyngen, four more tourists traveled with him. One of the injured was evacuated from the scene by helicopter.
