Colonel General Alexander Lapin, Chief of the Land Forces Main Staff, and Colonel General Mikhail Teplinskiy, Commander of the Air Forces, were sent to the special military operations zone by order of Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu. In this respect Telegram said war correspondent Yuri Kotenok.

“On March 30, Teplinsky was recalled from vacation by the Minister of Defense and sent to the front, without spending a full day at Air Force headquarters,” wrote Kotenok.

According to him, Lapin, together with Teplinsky, also flew to Rostov-on-Don on the same plane.
