Survey results show that almost half of adults have sex on a first date to get to know someone faster or just for fun. It has been reported Pink News.
More than 2,000 adults participated in the study. 49% of people have had sex on the first date, and men are more open to it than women.
Some of the most popular reasons to have sex on the first date include pleasure (53%), being able to immediately assess sexual compatibility (46%), and fostering an emotional bond (26%). In addition, 20% said they would like to see if the other person accepted their pleasure in sex before committing to them.
Among survey respondents who never had sex on the first date, the most common reason was that they were uncomfortable having sex with someone they didn’t know (47%). 32% reported that they only enjoyed having sex with their partner, 25% found sex on the first date against their principles, and 17% feared pregnancy and genital infections.
The joke part of the study showed that Capricorn and Libra are more likely to have sex on a first date than other zodiac signs.
