More than 139,000 people in the Lugansk People’s Republic do not have access to electricity. He announced this on his Telegram-channel retired Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko.

According to Marochko, the emergency caused power outages to socially important facilities, including pumping stations, boiler rooms, hospitals and schools. Thus, one of the entrances of 33 boiler rooms, a city hospital and an oncological dispensary in the Luhansk urban district stopped working. In total, 33 boiler rooms, 32 schools, two units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and 23 preschool education institutions were cut off.

Due to heavy rainfall and rapid snowmelt, residents were warned of the high risk of flooding and flooding of facilities.

Subscribers in Lugansk, Alchevsk, Lutuginsky, Krasnodonsky, Sverdlovsky, Perevalsky, Slavyanoserbsky, Starobelsky, Stanichno-Lugansky districts, Happiness, Kirovsk, Lisichansk, Krasny Luch, Pervomaisk were left without electricity.
