Specialists of the courier-mail service (FPS) of the Southern Military District continue to deliver daily mail from relatives and friends of military personnel who participated in a special military operation to protect the population of Donbass, according to the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
All correspondence from all regions of Russia is sorted in Moscow, and then transported by military transport aviation to places where messages from relatives are transmitted by armored vehicles directly to the front.
“We are constantly waiting for packages from home, we basically do not need anything. For example, I have a grandmother, and she is happy when she writes me a letter and I send her a letter, ”said the girl.
For the transport of mail correspondence, communication specialists use a special FPS hardware service. For each military unit there are special compartments for packing letters and parcels into cells, as well as work areas for quick sorting of correspondence on the go and in the foreground.
