According to most Russians, their dismissal will cause major problems at the current workplace: from the suspension of several departments to the complete shutdown of the company. The career portal shared this data with socialbites.ca my resume.

Therefore, 61% of respondents agreed that they consider themselves indispensable employees, because so much depends on their work in the organization. 10% believe the manager wouldn’t just sign a resignation letter for them. Here, as the participants predicted, there could be two scenarios for the development of events. First, the director will tell him to look for a substitute of the same quality himself, and terminate the contract only when it is found. Secondly, the boss will persuade you to stay and offer motivating bonuses, for example, in the form of a salary increase.

Another 23.3% of Russians believe that it is basically impossible to find a replacement, as it will cause serious problems for the company. Due to the lack of a valuable expert, management can face serious fines from the inspection authorities, disrupting the work of more than one department at the same time. Several survey respondents said their bosses would also leave if they decide to leave.

27.7% of respondents are aware of their value as experts, but think that without them it will only be difficult in the organization at first: supply chains will be disrupted, few regular customers will leave, and difficulties will arise in completing reports. Co-workers will have the worst because they will likely carry an additional burden that will not be paid. However, the business will gradually return to its old course.

39% of Russians believe that there are no irreplaceable people. Therefore, 26.4% are confident that nothing bad will happen to the company after they leave and that the management will easily approve the dismissal. 12.6% of respondents believe that the boss will eventually fire them after the legally mandated two-week leave period, even though they will react negatively to the application.
